Do you sell the computers?
No. I tell you exactly what to buy and where to buy it, then you buy it yourself from a shop in your own country. Nothing goes through me, and I make nothing on the purchase. That is deliberate: it means I have no reason to point you at anything except the right machine.
Is it actually free?
Yes. No account, no payment, no upsell halfway through. You answer a few questions about your kid and you get the specs, the traps to avoid, and real machines on sale near you.
What ages does this work for?
6 to 18. What changes with age is what they will actually do with it. A 7 year old needs a machine that runs Roblox and survives being a 7 year old's. A 15 year old editing video needs something quite different, and the guide asks enough to tell those apart.
How does it know what is on sale where I live?
It picks the three sites people in your country actually buy computers from (Ceneo, x-kom and OLX in Poland, Prisjakt, Komplett and Finn in Norway, and so on), searches them while you wait, and comes back with what it found. It will only tell you a price it just saw on a page. If it could not see one, it says so instead of guessing.
I know nothing about computers. Is that a problem?
That is who it is for. You will not need to know what a graphics card is. You get a short list to take to the shop and, more usefully, a list of things that should make you walk away.
What language is it in?
English by default. Write to it in Norwegian or Polish and it will answer in that language and stay there.
What happens after I get the list?
You buy the computer, from wherever you like. Keep talking to the guide while you shop if you want a second opinion on something you have found. And if your kid catches the bug and wants to build games rather than just play them, message me.
